GraviCal – Accuracy in weights
We founded the GraviCal company in 2018. As a subsidiary of a renowned scale manufacturing company that has been active for decades, we’re able to draw on a wealth of experience in the field of scales, weighing and weights.
Our completely newly-equipped, ultra-modern calibration laboratory has all the facilities required and uses the latest state-of-the-art technology. It complies with the international standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and is accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) (Registration no. D-K-21136-01-00). High-precision mass comparators from Sartorius enables scales and test weights to be calibrated as well as the issuing of factory calibration certificates for ISO. We can also recalibrate weights from the classes E2 – M1.

In addition, we at GraviCal offer a comprehensive range of services for our customers. Together with you, we define and document test and calibration routines or draw up and check your standard operating procedures (SOP). Together we define the correct test and calibration intervals and define the maximum permissible measurement deviations during testing/calibration. This results in warning and intervention limits and the measures to be taken if these are exceeded. We maintain a database for our customers in which we take over the testing equipment management for scales and test weights. There we record new testing equipment if required and get rid of the old ones. The calibration results of the testing equipment are archived and users are advised about condition and usability. In this way, they’re always on the safe side.

Calibration of test weights and online shop
Accurate measurement is of fundamental importance in many areas. This is where if mistakes are made, they can often have expensive consequences. That’s why testing equipment such as weights – depending on their frequency of use – should be recalibrated at regular intervals.
Companies with a quality management system (e.g. ISO 9000ff, TS 16949, VDA, FDA, GLP, GMP etc.) must have their testing equipment checked regularly as part of normative prescribed test equipment monitoring – and document this accordingly. As a DAkkS (German Accreditation Body) accredited testing laboratory, we can perform such tests and issue a DAkkS calibration certificate.
Weights made of brass, aluminium, stainless steel, steel, cast iron, plastic etc. in many shapes and qualities. Choose between high-gloss polished, brushed, painted or surface-coated with tolerances according to OIML classes or specific ones. For identification, you can choose between laser marking, diamond engraving or colour coding.

GraviCAL ist ein akkreditiertes Kalibrierlaboratorium, bei dem die
Prüfgewichte nach den Vorgaben der DAkkS kalibriert werden. Das Labor
